Health-eU
provides premium data center services for secure and
reliable hosting
at
its Network Operations Center (NOC). Our hosting center
resides in a hub for critical IP networks and Internet
operations worldwide. With access to all of the top global
Tier 1 networks, the
Health-eU
NOC is interconnected to the largest aggregation of
networks, providing the highest level of service and
reliability. This allows
Health-eU
NOC customers direct access to the providers that serve over
90% of the world's Internet networks.
All servers and networking operations in the NOC are
provided with the highest level of security and optimal
operating conditions for equipment. All cabinet locations
are engineered with direct access to the data distribution
system to allow a virtually infinite number of
interconnections at any speed. Caged areas are configured
with overhead cable distribution systems, dual ac and dc
power distribution raceways, biometric hand geometry
readers, and individually locked cabinets.
Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems prevent power
spikes, surges and brownouts while redundant backup diesel
generators provide additional fuel to keep the data center
powered up in the event that public utility fails.
The HVAC system provides continuous appropriate airflow,
temperature and humidity. A multi-zoned, fire suppression
system with dual alarm activation requirements is state of
the art.
The center is manned by on-site security on a 24x365 basis.
All doors, including cages, are secured with biometric hand
geometry readers. The Operations Center is fully anonymous
and has no windows. CCTV digital camera provides coverage of
the entire center, including cages, with archival systems.
All exterior walls are bullet resistant. A silent alarm and
automatic notification of appropriate law enforcement
officials protect all exterior entrances. CCTV is integrated
with access control and alarm systems along with
motion-detection for lighting.
